School management

Run the whole school from one dashboard

Staff, students, attendance, leave, duty and admissions are all managed in one app, and the moment the head of institution opens it, they see where the school stands today.

01

Today, at a glance

  • Headline figures: employees, students and active administrators. Each one opens straight into its area.
  • Staff by category: teaching, non-teaching and vocational staff, each showing the total next to the number who are active, so vacancies and inactive records are easy to spot.
  • Today's attendance, split into four groups:
    • Present: marked in at the school
    • On duty: away on assigned official duty
    • On leave: on approved leave
    • Not marked: still to mark attendance
  • Students: the total, and a breakdown by gender.

Because legitimate absence is shown separately from unexplained absence, a principal can see at a glance whether anyone needs a phone call.

02

Set up once, in minutes

  • School profile: a step-by-step form that only shows the fields that apply to the school. Progress is saved, so it can be finished later.
  • Campus boundary: a centre point and a radius. Schools with more than one building can add more points.
  • Shifts: working days, start and end times, shifts that run past midnight, unpaid breaks, and a late-arrival allowance within the state's limit.
  • School calendar: state holidays and the school's own holidays in one calendar.
  • Leave approval steps: set up the approval steps that suit your school, with the principal as the final approver.
03

Staff

  • Add staff in bulk from a spreadsheet, or one at a time with a guided form.
  • Approve or reject leave, with a comment the staff member can read.
  • Review changes staff make to their own profiles before they become part of the official record.
  • Create duties, request substitutes, and handle withdrawals for individual dates. Staff who are on leave cannot be assigned by mistake.
  • Correct genuine attendance mistakes within the monthly allowance. Every corrected day stays marked as Regularized.
  • Record special attendance for staff on official duty away from any campus.
04

Students

  • Add a whole cohort at once from a spreadsheet at the start of the session.
  • View the student roll with gender breakdowns, and open any student's full profile.
  • Class teachers mark attendance for their class every day.
05

Admissions

  • Open or close admissions for your school within the windows the state sets.
  • Review applications, ask for a document to be uploaded again, and mark each application approved or rejected.
06

School data for national reporting

The school records its details in six sections: identity and location; classes and enrolment; entitlements such as free uniforms and textbooks; toilets and sanitation; infrastructure and digital facilities; and the school management committee and teachers. These details feed the state's national reporting.

07

For heads with more than one role

  • Principals who also teach switch between their employee view and the school view in a couple of seconds, without signing in again.
  • Heads of more than one school pick which school to run from a list.
08

Coming soon

  • Mid-Day Meal (PM POSHAN): stock, daily meals served, menus, kitchen inspections and hygiene ratings.
  • Timetables
